NICK THOMAN

HEAD COACH

Nick Thoman is an Olympic medalist and former world class backstroke swimmer who competed at the highest level of international swimming, representing the USA at major global championships and winning Olympic and World Championship medals.

Since retiring from competition, Nick has moved into coaching, working with developing and high performance swimmers. He focuses on stroke efficiency, race skills, and helping athletes understand what it takes to train and compete at an elite level.

Gabrielle Hills is an experienced international swimming coach who has worked with competitive swimmers across age group and performance pathways. She is known for her strong technical knowledge, clear communication, and athlete centred coaching style.

Gabrielle focuses on stroke development, training habits, and building confident swimmers who understand how to train with purpose. She brings a professional, supportive approach to coaching and is passionate about helping swimmers make consistent progress in both performance and mindset.

LERAND S

DRY LAND & STRENGTH TRAINER

Lerand brings a unique and highly respected background to Elite Swim Asia, combining strength training, core development and long term experience in athlete development. Originally from the UK, Lerand began his career in boxing before transitioning into personal training, strength and conditioning, and health focused coaching.

With over 20 years of experience across the UK and Thailand, Lerand has worked extensively with young athletes and young adults, helping them build core strength, physical resilience, and strong movement foundations. His sessions focus on safe, effective strength development that directly supports swimming performance and long term athletic health.
